Who UKOO are
UKOO is a Melbourne skincare brand started by three women who could not find products that looked like their own families. They make body wash, lotion and lip balm.
Both brands begin in the same place: family, and what gets handed on between generations. The Village Tote is where the two meet. The bag is cut from the same Thai check as the pants, and it carries UKOO's wash and lotion.
The same cloth, a different shape
The tote is cut from the offcuts the pants are cut from. Which is why the checks are not the same from one bag to the next, and why a run ends when the cloth does.
